Honestly, I ain’t tripping too much. They’re gonna have to play their best whether they’re home or away. Homecourt can swing with just one game. The Nuggets are able to beat any team in their own house. I hope the lesson from this loss is that you have to keep your foot on the gas and have a laser focus to win games this time of year.
Yeah no one was close enough to us last year for home court to matter. Still confident, just sucks to lose the 1 seed like that.

As bad as the spurs loss was, things broke pretty great for us today. Wolves gave away HCA, and they really don't match up well with phoenix. OKC is probably too young to get to the WCF too.

I agree and having to face the lakers in the first round will get the nuggets to lock in as they always get up for the lakers

Kinda get the feeling after tonight that we’re just straight running it back. If they thought they needed to go get another guy the 1st and zeke was probably the way to do it. shyt even if you were trying to dump Zeke, you probably needed those 2nds they traded. I guess they could still potentially trade Zeke and the ‘31 first names w or at the deadline, but it feels like they think there’s enough young guys on the roster now to fill out the rotation.

If they have this draft, lose KCP and just use the TPMLE, we’re fukked.

Yeah, I think this is Booths first real test. I don’t think they will allow him to waste Jokic’s prime years and he didn’t build the core parts of championship team so he doesn’t get the grace he would if he had. Zeke is a four, this guy looks like he could possibly play the five but Malone has to develop the young guys next year. MPJ needs to take a step and the offense needs to evolve. Back up center is huge, they have needed one for a while now and we saw what happened when there was no one that could spell Jokic in the season or post season

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Losing KCP would hurt no doubt but I think there’s enough talent on the roster to replace him. Coaching staff just needs to develop it. Malone needs to actually play guys. Damn shame how he ran the starters into the ground down the stretch. Also needs to add some damn layers to the offense. Can’t just put all your eggs in the Murray-Jokic two-man basket.

Also, Thunder got better with Caruso addition and so did Wolves with the Dillingham trade.

I just saw what we gave up to move up in the draft and what the timberwolves gave up. How didn’t the spurs get more?

Seems like even higher picks in this draft were pretty worthless. But that unprotected 31 first could be gold if Ant leaves before then.

If booth doesn’t resign KCP and Braun doesn’t work out than he needs to be on the hot seat. We can’t waste Jokic’s prime and Malone has to play the young guys. Ownership has to seat him down and tell him he has to play them but booth’s selections need scrutiny too because if Pickett isn’t a good back up pg that is on him

He absolutely needs to be on the hot seat if the bench is all of his recent guys and it still sucks.

I like booth in general but I think he’s putting way too much stock into his own ability to find guys in the 20s and 30s. It might end up being his downfall.
