They already are canon. They just haven't crossed over yet. But its been confirmed both of those games are official SF Universe canon. IIRC. Final Fight, SF, Slammasters, and Rival Schools are all the same universe.
But I'd love to see Kyoko, Shoma, Oni or Akira in a SF game.

Nah, there are Easter eggs but no characters are ever directly mentioned or shown interacting with any SF characters.
All this conjecture about G being possibly Q or Greg from Bloody Roar (another Franchise/ Company entirely) is some of the biggest crock of shyt I've heard in a loooooong time. This goofy ass internet fans....

Bruh that wouldve been so much better than what we got. Two of the most underused characters are goten and trunks. That couldve created great story tension and weight.
