This is the most underwhelming fighting game in terms of offline gameplay out there, they have a survival mode that replaced arcade mode that flat out cheats. The story mode is trash compared to its competitors. Theres no customizable colors or outfits ala tekken or injustice, the other story mode is trash also.

If your getting this game youll probably find yourself playing online a lot because offline just isnt that fun in this game. I just play a little of it for fight money but thats about it

Idk most people seem to have dropped it. It's widely regarded as the better game between the 2 but we've been playing it for so long that people don't wanna go back

fukk it, I'm not givin Capcom almost $20 for that mediocre SFV. I'll just wait until next summer when they reduce it to like $5-$7 and then I'll join the hype train.

I'm through with supporting these AAA devs they're always fukkin us over in the past 10 years.

Who would have thought it would be Nintendo who's got the most sauce. I'd say PS4 and Steam are close behind the gaming gen with Xbone nowhere in sight. Xbone will be the new SEGA after the XboneX tanks.

I just want good games with all of the features unlocked with the one purchase... is that too much to ask for?

I'm still twisted on whether I should buy SFV, I know the graphics look a mile better but the gameplay is similar to the SFIV. The main thing that I even play Street Fighter is for the arcade mode. Like how is the main feature for a fighting game not present.

Essentially, I wanna know if I should still pick it up

Yeah. Just copped Ultra SFIV for $4 on www.G2A.com I've been finding matches all day long on Steam. The graphics look better and sharper than all console versions and you can't beat fukking $4 lol for the *entire game.

I've learned my lesson, lately I've ridden myself of loyalty after how these devs been treating us gamers for the past decade or so (the DLC Era). For multi-platform games I go to Steam. It's so easy to pirate the single player campaign oriented games. I only buy games that need online like sports or fighting games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and FIFA. Then Nintendo and Sony for their 1st party exclusives. Every game on Xbox is on Steam already working and performing better.

I only pirate games that don't deserve my money. But, even then if it becomes on sale or it's dirt cheap years/months down the line then I'll support them if the price is right. I'm not gonna buy every game of my high interest at launch and spend $50 like a dikkhead.

I buy the games I want to support like EA's FIFA and Mass Effect franchise, Nintendo, $ONY, Rockstar and indie developers/publishers that are pushing the culture forward especially like Devolver and TellTale. The good publishers don't churn out games every year with the exception for FIFA which is actually in development for 4 years before it's released.

I support the devs that make games feel *fun to play. When you play some "AAA" games these days they just feel like a 1:1 simulation of real life which isn't *fun to me.

I never got the hype over SFIII. I know I'm in the minority, but SFIV (Ultra) is the definitive verion in the series imo.
