GGs @Sypress, i think that was the first time where i somewhat effectively used Bison's charge moves during a match lol
Don't know what was up with me tonight :francis:

I would start combos but wouldn't finish them correctly

Don't worry, I will get back to you:ufdup:

:ehh: I'm still not that great but I'm slowly getting better. I'm testing out Alex now and his normals, while slow are :leon:.

Using EX Headbutt against full screen projectile zoners is :banderas:

Anti-air crouching HP into EX Knee Smash :ahh:

Is it safe to cop this? I see the price has dropped on Amazon. Has there been updates to add an arcade mode for one to practice with?
No arcade mode and probably won't be, at least not anytime soon.

Honestly the best practice you'll get is playing against other people which is even better now with 2/3 matches.

I Assume there is a large amount of players where I can get a lot of matches in?

And isn't their a Story Mode on this? is it like the MKX Story mode where its one story and you play with different characters? Because When I think of Arcade mode I think of fighting 8-10 people with last being a final boss and then get to see an ending movie.

2 different story modes.

One thats available now where you pick a character and have 3 or 4 fights with voiced over artwork pictures in between. It's way too easy and short so it doesn't provide a challenge.

Then there is the cinematic story mode coming in June as a free update. It's most likely going to be similar to MKX, where you play as various characters throughout till the end.

As far as getting matches, yeah it's very easy to get a match. I don't have any problem getting any.

Gotcha, I`m kinda still on the fence because all this news about PS4.5 and I assume will = price cuts, and then no arcade mode = no chance for me to really get skilled enough, because jumping straight into online is risk imo and I haven't played street fighter like that in years so I need time to sharpen skills.

I feel you fam. Its definitely light on single player content, so if that's something you really want you should wait till another price drop.

As far as the gameplay itself, it's damn near perfect.

For the bolded, I definitely disagree. If you eventually decide to get the game, you could just stick to casual matches so that way you don't have to worry about points. Outside of some weird occasions, the game will match you up to people of a similar skill level.

Even though there is no arcade mode, there is a survival mode and the CPU definitely can be on some BS at times, so I doubt an arcade mode will be much better.

Like you, I haven't really messed with SF or fighting games in general for a long time. I played SF4 for a little bit before my PS3's disc drive stopped working so I didn't get to spend much time with it. Before that, my last SF was SF2 on the Super Nintendo.

Yea. I used to have a PS4 but I sold it because at the time there weren't any fighting games really and I picked up an XBONE mainly because I enjoyed the Media features. XBONE seems to focus more on FPS and I`m more into fighting games but I dont game a ton which is why I couldn't justify keeping the ps4 at the time. Thats why I want to be sure because I`d pretty much be getting the PS4 strictly for SF5, and I see how long SF4 lasted, but all this PS4.5 and stuff has me feeling some kind of way and I dont wanna toss my money out on something that might not be around long term. Being that I`m such a casual gamer I`d probably be better off waiting for another price drop and then at least by then there may be an arcade mode so I can "catch up" skill wise.

As someone who bought the game if I were in your psoition I'd wait out a little longer. The arcade update will come eventually and in that time some more PS4 games that you may care about might get released so you aren't buying a console for only one game

Thinking about getting the PC version. I take it my CFN ID doesn't transfer over and I would have to start from scratch.

Based on what you're saying, the best course of action is to wait until at least June cus

1) The SFV story update will come out then (supposedly)
2) We'll find out at E3 if the PS4.5 is real and coming out this year

But if you want to get it to play online, I'd say just go for it.
