back in the day, they used artists to sell music. Now they use "music" to sell us the artists. The "fans" are more concerned with 1st weeks sales, #1 hits, how someone dresses, their finances, and what they are driving than the actual music.

Fans are definitely more into their persona than the music.

Im out of touch with the stream world.

Had no idea who Kai Cenat was until he recently had Nicki Minaj and John Cena eating McDonald's.

Duke Dennis was at a Colorado Buffalo game in the locker and ESPN made a big deal about it. I was confused and thought he was some big time high school recruit.

Never would have thought people would become famous and make millions steaming themselves doing regular everyday activities. Very strange to me.
