My nikka Ed, from 1 D nikka to another, TWD just aint all that good. Yes, it is something that will keep you watching for whatever reason, hell, I love the show, but when you really think about it, WTF is good about it. Its a zombie show whos strong point is how dangerous life is under those circumstances, yet the writers have not even touched on the cause of it, a solution to it, ect. I would like it a lot more if they actually had a long term goal, but there is not one. Nobody has mentioned the government, nobody has mentioned or even tried to communicate with anything outside of Georgia, ect. They could really do a lot more, insted most of the eps has involved nikkas walking around trying to find supplies, trying to relocate people, or trying to find a safe haven. All the time they had that secure ass jail, you mean to tell me nobody ever thought about trying to create radio communication????????btw none of you ball less followers have the hutszpah to make a thread like this. Thats why i'm Ed Mothereffing G...and you're "fredrick..thuglass" and "huellz santana" ...and "negro the troll". Why I'm HERE. and you'reTHERE.
I STAND BY MY STATEMENT. I watched this show with no outside influences and felt this way. Its one of my favorite dramas ever and they've done a phenomenal job with a medium tougher to replicate that a crime drama or mafia or whatever.

I feel you breh but, in that situation why would YOU know, as a survivor, the cause / solution, etc? They know more than mos beacuse of their trip to the CDC. Hell, they met a family that didn't even know how to kill them.
ZOMBIE survival films aren't even about that. They're about survival, the loss of life, etc;.
And communication outside of Georgia? How do you suppose you do that? they fukkin NAPALMED ATLANTA. Do you understand how screwed up the world got while rick was out?
Its crazy yall are distracted by stuff like that which has no bearing on the quality of the show to most.
Does the internet just hate this show? i have yet to talk to anyone in real life that doesn't like it.

i can't cosign this thread at all breh. twd is good but not that great. hell true detectives could end horribly and it's first season alone would be better than twd.

I feel what you are saying my nikka, but we are in season 4. Of course its focused on survivlal, but for the whole 4 seasons
???????? They have had enough time and sanctuary to actually start thinking about long term shyt without interrupting the focus on survival. Now if the focus on survival was that entertaining it would be cool, but its really not. Think about the situation with The Governor, you had this big ass build up which led to the most anticlimatic season finale in TV history lol, they leave that subject alone for damn near the whole next season, brings the GOV back (his return was great, they went into detail about what his character was doing since then and I think that was the best stretch of episodes since season 1) then it was over just that quick. They are seriously lacking not only in character development but story development.

Come to think of it this might be the only show i'v watched multiple seasons of without giving a fukk about a single character. Rick could get raped and murdered in front of Carl in the next episode and my only reaction would be relief that I don't have to hear him overdramatically trying to out-accent the other actors in every scene ever again.
Between that and the sketchy writing this show shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as GOAT contenders like BB or The Wire.

I could be persuaded that BB is as good or better than B5.
But BSG's last season was just so much existential garbage that it's
status. Plus Starbuck was an annoying bytch and I ended up fast-forwarding through most of her scenes in the final season.Soprano's is legit mediocre in my opinion.
