We've only seen this genre done well in film and in videogames its the first time a TV show has done it justice, thats harder than a crime drama.

I think that's why you're overrating it. It's the first zombie series to get big like it is... when I think of TWD, I think of how much potential is being squandered away with it.

Compare season 1 carol to season 4
Compare reluctant leader Rick to broken down shell of a man rick
Look at the subtle psychosis, breakdown, rebuild, and sociopathia of The Govenor leading to his demise.
Look at Mishonne and the depth of her charactor going from high class Georgia house wife to straight up killer.
Look at Darryl going from dirtbag to leader and his mental battle about his brother.

Nope. Absolutely not. No. House of Cards, Game of Thrones, and True Detective only have a shot of hitting that level.

And honestly I'd put True Detective above both but only because I've read ahead of the story in GoT and House of Cards is just not there yet.

The acting is just decent and the story has had so many changes it's laughable.

But it's a very entertaining show.

And even then a boring TWD episode is a BORING episode of television. That show really struggles at time to do a lot with a little. So when the budget is low for an episode you're in for some zzz'z.

First season was dope.. from there it fell off hard.

Getting rid of Frank Darabont was a huge mistake. All the characters are loathful, I couldn't care less if they died, and the shyt is boring beyond comprehension. They'll have a strong.. :lebron: worthy episode here and there but other than that it's usually a snoozefest.

T-dog; i literally hated his charactor and stupid name at first but was when he died
When Carol left I was sad but glad she's gone for the same reasons as above
I was glad Dale died that counts
When Carol's daughter walked out of that barn as a walker
If Darryl, Rick, or Carl die its gonna be sad, if Darryl dies its damn near BODIE status.
