fakkit, they didn't get AirPlay anywhere, it was a word of mouth movement that caught everyone by surprise.

Same thing happened with acts likeToo Short etc

Were you even alive at that point or are you talking out of your ass about shyt you don't even know about.
I don't think he was. Then again, I've read too many articles written by millenial white kids who just don't get it, and their elders who were there instead of following the hair metal and grunge cats .. are not correcting them.

Was Bone Thugs n Harmony even mention in the movie?

i heard eazy mentioned them in a conversation with ice cube.

smh. cube & dre were on some sucka chit with this movie. i saw the writing on the wall with the lil eazy fiasco last year, and then the commercials ommitting ren & yella a few months ago......but they got snoop all over the commercial.

You telling me they showed when dre put hands on a woman? :mjpls:

nope but they had time to put in :duck: scenes like dre standing up to suge and beating up his homies.

i'll watch the bootleg but i heard too much sucka chit. i cant spend money on stuff like this. thats now how im cut.

fact that this movie had a black director as well….:wow: gotta let black directors tell out stories breh. i remeber jim sheridan, who is a genuine great director, but that dude didnt know how to handle Get Rich Or Die Tryin, even though he made classic films in other genres. 8 mile also had a great director but that film was still a lil underwhelming, its like these A List directors come int that world tryna do gritty and i dont know, something missing.

yea. ive been saying that since back then.

GRODT couldve been an all-time classic if it had a black director. 50's crazy story basically went to waste. that movie was trash.

8 mile wouldve meant something if they at least had a black co-director handle the rapping end of it.
