Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
this is an interview with the dude who plays 2pac in the movie that might speak to the inconsistencies. he says 2pac was not originally in the movie, but after the film was test screened, everyone was saying where was 2 pac, so they put him in. thats probably where they had timeline issues.

They had to be test screening a bunch of old cacs. Can't believe they made that simple ass mistake.

Didn't Dr Dre beat a woman's ass...I highly doubt he was a saint but I'll definitely see this

Dope movie.
I feel like some scenes were clearly pushing that R-Rating pretty hard
I do agree that there were clearly certain things omitted or weren't touched on
and in some ways it did exalt Dr. Dre who I do think is great.

I mean they touched on what Dre did before ruthless/priority, death row and post death
row but there wasn't too much information on Eazy-E after Dre's departure to death row.
Would've been dope to see the Bone Thugs in action, I also would've liked to see more information
Cube's association with the Nation of Islam or Dre's woman beating issue's.

One thi9ng I liked above all is that yes they were portrayed as these larger than life
personalities but there was still some humanity there.
For example Eazy-E facing his mortality = DOPE scene.

Can we get some more facts though on what was :duck: ?
Touching on that without spoiling the film would be a good day to put it in perspective.
How the hell is anything spoiling the film when all of us know the story and timeframes (for the most part)

The Straight Out of Compton film is back by a marketing machine and promoted globally. Interscope was backed by Atlantic Records in the late 80s-90s so do not think at one moment that the NWA phenomenon was coincidental and organic. I also live in So Cal and I reiterate that they are the most notorious studio gangsters that ever live with MC Ren being the realest of the group. The rest were performers and suburbanites equivalent to ODB Russell "Rusty" Wallace suburban/hood ass. Eazy getting invitation from the Rebuplican party for White House events and shyt.

Man, shut the fukk up. You out have no idea what you are talking about. Straight Outta Compton didn't even get any radio play. The group and album came together organically and sold two million copies by word of mouth.

They were on Priority not Interscope you dumb shyt.

How are they surburban when all the members either lived in Compton or South Central?

How ? Because though we may all know the time frame we don't know how the information will be delivered. (unless you've already
seen the film like I did. )
It could literally ruin scenes, in fact I feel should edit my post now just in case someone might read it and have a pivotal moment spoiled.

Who the fukk knows why he joined the party, he was a rich businessman hanging with old cacs. And act like Kendrick and J. Cole are not the 2nd and 3rd biggest artists in rap today.
These labels put on anyone who can make money for their owners, Universal is owned by a French conglomerate, Sony is Japanese and Warner is owned by a Russian/British jew. Do you really think they give two fukks about the music? They in it for the money.

Are you trolling? I don't know what you are talking about anymore. My point is that N.W.A. blew up due to 5 mic music, due to them being so controversial, being so unheard-of in music, being so aggressive and timely with the re-peak in violence, gang culture and police brutality.

but...I thought NWA were rebels whom scared authority and the voice disenfranchised black America:aicmon:..the most gangsta member of the group rubbing shoulders with Tea Party cacs and having a father/son type relationship with a middle aged white daddy contradicts this image:comeon: Easy must have been plotting to jack all those uppidity peckerwoods and bring the money back to Compton right:childplease:

the only thing i give you is that a major reason NWA blew up was cause controversy sells...basically they were lucky to be the 1st gimmick studio gangeers rappers chosen by the CIA to pushed in the mainstream as the new face of rap....NWA basically the real Rick Ross of the rap game

yeah NWA pushed a million plus records out the back of a their tour bus and became intentional pop stars based on purely street buzz..Priority didn't nothing to promote them but just sat back and collected the checks:childplease:you can't be this stupid...:mindblown:

The controversy was orchestrated and backed by White dollars and you have yet to refute my original post.
