Tim Duncan was such an exception to the general rule. Pop fukked up trying to make Kawhi Tim 2.0. That story of Kawhi during his first All-Star game. Uncle Dennis def played a part in driving the wedge in, but the whole "get over yourself" mantra of Pop probably rubbed Kawhi the wrong way. That concept really spawned itself because DunGawd didn't care about the showman side of the league.
