Stephon Castle with a good offensive night.

Wemby looked worn out against the Hawks the other night. I didn't see tonight's game but the box score wasn't good and maybe he needs a game or two off...even if it's just allergies that's bothering him.

They're

@ Orlando tomorrow
@ Washington on Monday
@ Boston on Wednesday

Then they have the All Star Break.

The allergies and general wear on his body must be affecting him. And being on the road is likely making it tougher.
Didn’t realize it was a b2b Charlotte and Orlando. Just sit him until the ASB.

Signing Biyombo is a dart throw.
This won't be impactful.

Get Wemby some rest.

I think in the short term, what could move the needle for the Spurs is Fox getting comfortable with his teammates, and whatever progress Castle makes in these final 2 months. If Castle can force Chris Paul to fewer minutes, or to the bench, that would solidify the starting rotation and signal to everyone that we've found our nucleus (Wemby, Castle, Fox, and maybe Sochan if he can push Barnes out, though I think Barnes is firm for now).

I keep getting thrown off by these 6pm games the Spurs have been playing.

The Truth
Spurs still ass :blessed:

Nah, the Fox trade was a good pick up. Shouldn’t of had him defer even though Wemby is Wemby

Fox wouldve smoked Isaac and all Wemby would’ve needed to do was follow him/the shot on the rebound.

Sochan is 6'8 230 lbs
Mami is 6'9 240 lbs

At least put him out there as backup c and see what he can do. Even if it flops, at least you tried. Second straight season you're(coach) putting sochan out of position and screwing shyt up for him.

Zach Collins truly fukked this team up something serious. And I get the 8th pick in this draft got turned into the Minnesota pick which ended up getting flipped as part of the Fox trade, but man imagine Kel-el Ware on this team right now with Fox and Vic.

As for Sochan, the problem is I think the team is trying to justify using him and as a result is putting him in these spots. I know the counting numbers look good (his percentages are high since most of his looks are close to the rim), but when he looked that open 3 off at the end of the 3rd quarter and didn't get a shot off before the buzzer, I couldn't help but laugh. If Sochan truly has the mean streak his fans think he does, he needs to challenge Wemby with that, because allergies/RSV/whatever he has, Wemby hasn't played a complete game in some time (other than maybe the first Paris game). He checks out far too many times (not sure how many 2nd chance points he gave up due to lazy defensive rebounding efforts).

Fukkit. As long as ONE of those two ‘25 picks works out, I’ll chalk this ssn up as a “success.”
