Thanks for this post. I know folk aside from myself with scoliosis. I'm not going under the knife ever.

Hot yoga is as far as I go. That's why you should get a 2nd or 3rd or 4th opinion with any procedure if you feel uncomfortable.

This is why I always make sure to keep my posture in check and on point just on some preventative maintenance

My chiropractor did wonders on my back. I started going when I couldn't take the pain anymore and my mobility was pretty bad affecting me doing my daily tasks. I went to the chiropractor 3 times a week for 6 months. I feel that i improved significantly. I haven't gone now in over a year and I still feel a ton better. I'll never be 100% but going to the chiropractor improved my flexibility. If I was at 0% I think I improved to 60%. Massive difference. You just gotta know when to stop going because they are money hungry. I found out when I was done I was over charged by $600. I got my money back from them tho.

I gave my live updates here.

I ran every day in February, March and early April. I had a race I was going to run in if not 2.

I fukked my foot up, lost feeling in my toe, couldn't even walk. Went to a foot and ankle specialist. He gave me a prosthetic told me to come back in a week. That wasn't good enough cause my race was that weekend. He was talking bout stress fracture and nerve damage......

I left, went to a chiropractor the next day, she evaluated my foot and was like "I really don't think there's anything wrong with your foot." She pointed out a nerve that goes from your back to your foot, laid me down the the table, popped my back and within moments I was better.

Was able to run my races. Do everything normal, no pain.

I had pinched a nerve in my back that goes down to my foot, doing heavy squats.

:jbhmm: This a evil world we live in.

i always wanted to try going to a chiropractor but i'm good. i bought a foam roller and went to physical therapy and it helped. from personal experience, if you have back pain get your hips checked.

My man…that Twitter thread in the OP is a shytshow.

The irony here is the doctor even says
medical analysis does not belong on Twitter, yet he starts to tweet medical jargon—-shorthand and all—-and in all his jargon and dad-isma he isn’t making a lick of sense.

Then it’s compounded by OP just dropping the tweets out of thin air into this thread. Bottom line some topics aren’t made for tweet -thread format. Also everyone nowadays tweets/types like they trying to be sarcastic and edgy, and it makes ANY content, even something as technical as this, sound like HS gossip

From my personal experience and years of education it’s way more to it than that, and no amount of corrective exercises can combat spinal degeneration due to lack of chiropractic intervention, the amount of younger people I’m seeing with already advance aging of the spine is alarming

I posted this last month. My uncle just died from prostate cancer and he got it cuz he got a hernia at work and needed surgery.

They never checked his prostate before surgery which is a requirement.

The cancer was already there. 2 months after surgery he has bad pain in his leg and hip.

Goes to his physician and they refer him to a cancer specialist who tells him he has stage 4 cancer.

Cuz the surgeon was inept just like that the cancer in his prostate got the oxygen it needed and it spread like crazy.

My aunt has a lawsuit and is gonna win but still that ain't gonna bring him back.

He would still be here if they would have did everything correct cuz the cancer was in its early stage before the surgery
