I've heard it before...Ive personally witnessed black kids who had good grades, didn't use slang and took piano lessons as being blacks who "acted white"...mind you, this was typically from lower income blacks.

The only time they get a pass is if they are ultra militant "woke" or "conscious"...anything out of that prism is usually considered being "white" in character

When I got older, I got my first sales job, the manager was impressed because I was so "well spoken".
Took a while for me to realize that both of those outlooks come from the same place and are the same idea manifest through different perspectives. Just a tool to cause confusion and division amongst the righteous.

I dont agree with the term "intellect" , but this is one of the few examples of putting other black people in a box because you dont relate to them.
Like you would call a black guy acting white if he mostly wear Vans, listens to Rock and Roll, hang out with cacs, likes anime and comic books, or doesn't talk with with slang that much. Yeah, look at any video of young adults in the 60s and 70s and compare it to today's youth. People back then spoke with more ground and knowledge. Today's young adults? They can never give off the same demeanor.
