I'm showing you the facts. If you go by the eye test, you can say Josh Allen is far better than Brady when he is playing his A game. Brady is more than what you see. You have absolutely no clue what's really going on each play.

Not sure why you are laughing. You can believe Rice or LT is better. but nobody is laughing but you. Brady's greatness far surpasses #2 QB. Rice has no equal, but many do believe Randy Moss is more talented and feared. Also QB is far more important than WR ever will be. When you build a team, you build a team with a QB in any era.

First the media has claimed Brady as the GOAT of football.

Shannon Sharpe. This is after Falcons SB win.

Nick Wright

Stephen A

Brady voted #1

Brady voted #1

Brady voted #1

Brady voted #1

And guess what? Both Nick Wright and Shannon Sharp have stated that Mahomes is the best quarterback they have ever seen.

This cant be proven. Its purely hypothetical. Also that era is much, much different. Manning won his first MVP with "only" 29 pass td the following year. So you put Pat there he is throwing for 36 td?? Also the 2002 Chiefs had a great cast..Brown/Patten/Smith vs Tony G, Kennison and Holmes with the best OLine in the NFL. 2002 Brady likely throws for 35 td with the 2002 Chiefs roster. Brady also had a separated shoulder the last 5 gms that had to be surgically repaired in the offseason.
With the floor being 26 TD's with Green good enough for 3rd place. He does easily.

This whole "Different Era" logic doesn't matter. In 2002 Brady had 601 pass attempts. In 2018 the year Patrick threw 50 TD's he only had 580 pass attempts. The volume is clearly there.

Volume does not matter..its way easier to pass now then back then. Why are you conveniently ignoring the fact that from 01-06, there were 5 4,000 yard/30 td seasons and from 2018 to currently there have been 35 such seasons!!! Yoi think thats a coincidence?!?! Rookie QBs always struggled aside from a few exceptions. Ever since 2011, rookie QBs come in putting up very good numbers with no problem. The great Peyton Manning, arguably the most pro ready QB ever, was 26/28 in td to int ratio ad a rookie, Prescott was 23/4, Wilson was 26/10. RG3 had a sick ratio, too. Justin Herbert came in and had "better" stats as a rookie than Peyton Mannings 1st MVP season etc....

The goat Pat Mahomes has played top 3 defenses every Super Bowl and brought his team back in all but 1

Patrick Mahomes has a passer rating of 105.8 with 5,135 yards, 41 touchdowns and 8 interceptions in 18 games in the playoffs in his career.

He’s already won more playoffs games than Peyton.

He’s already won more super bowls than Peyton.

Since 1999!!!!!

He’s surpasses Peyton in my book. Barring injury he’s gonna pass his yds tds mvps wins etc

I'm not comparing Peyton and malholmes im saying Peyton was trash in the playoffs like y'all making it seem and to me malholmes and Peyton are both better than brady

It's clear they need to shift their focus to the next player, as is often the case in the media. There's no longer a need to discuss Brady; it's the era of Mahomes now. This mirrors what happened in the Jordan vs. LeBron debate. I merely pointed those footages out because Brady being the GOAT in football is not a laughing matter. It's a legitimate debate/argument. I'm fine if someone says Jerry Rice or LT is better. I'm ok with that. but it shouldn't be a laughing matter. That's being very disrespectful to a player who has accomplished so much.

Another aspect of Brady's greatness is often overlooked. He possesses an innate ability to bring out the best in other players, a quality that isn't always captured on paper or on TV. The intricacies of each play, the X's and O's, are often taken for granted. Brady's seemingly simple pass to Player B is actually the result of his deep understanding of the play's unfolding. The presnap phase, which most of us will never fully grasp, is where Brady truly shines. A seemingly heroic pass to Player C may not have been necessary if the quarterback had anticipated the play's development. Many analysts who dissect the game often emphasize, "BRADY MAKES IT LOOK EASY," highlighting Brady's cerebral approach. In my opinion, while Mahomes is incredibly talented, he still has much to learn. Brady's ability to read the defense before a play even unfolds sets him apart from any young and talented quarterback in this era.

The fact is, Brady has distanced himself with his stats, wins, playoff performances, and longevity. It would be very difficult to factually argue against Brady being the GOAT in QB and football.

We even have football players old and new saying Mahomes is the best they have ever seen.

There's no such thing as consensus GOAT. Many fans, media, players said Bron is the GOAT for a damn decade. I'm a jordan Stan and even I feel bron is getting very close.

There's also a recency bias. Rodgers was heralded as a GOAT talent and many actually had Rodgers over Brady.

Imagine mahomes get injured or his play drops off drastically. Would people still say mahomes is the GOAT? Those who claimed Rodgers is the best they've ever seen. Where are they now?

Anything can happen in football. Mahomes is not even half way there yet. Let it play out and see how it goes.

The diffference is that Mahomes has already added in team success to the eye test. If Mahomes drops off tomorrow he'll still have one of the best resumes for a QB ever just off the last six years. So on top of the skill set and the eye test he has team success and the accolades.

If Mahomes never plays another down, some may still consider him a top 5 quarterback, but his ranking could easily fall out of the top 5 depending on Andy Reid does with other quarterbacks. That's how quickly fans' opinions can change. Just imagine if Andy Reid wins another championship with a different quarterback. It's similar to how we perceive Bill Belichick—our views can change dramatically based on outcomes.

Yall gotta let this play out. Mahomes is on a fast track. but he still has a long long way to go.
