there were no white people in HipHop until really early late 1970's/early 1980's

which is the OP's (Juneya) point doesn't hold any weight. Black people themselves gave the culture it's name, now known as "HipHop"

see above

Once again your inly postjng history according to the people who think they created it in 1970.

There was no way for them to even have the knowledge to make the connection. And its still not the whole story.

Once again... Who came up with the name jazz. Who came up with the name disco... Who came up with the name dab... Who came up with the name bling bling. Is all irrelevant to the fact that it was promoted and marketed by white people as hip hop to MAKE MONEY.

Because a nikka who didnt know his history thiught he invented something dont mean he invented it.

And i have showed proof over and over that the ONLY thing New York invented was the NAME and NEW HISTORY. With out recognizing any precious influences. They pretended they invented something....

You keep posting videos of nikkas pretending to invent something and i keep showing you were else it exist...

Stop being pretending to be dumb

Since we have no proof of africans doing it before seeing gymnastics or break dancing, it doesn't make sense to look towards africa for the roots

Yeah, Im too smart to fall for all the reaching you're doing:martin:

I'm talking to a sucka that cares about how I write you're... Oh... You're one of those nikkas...

if africans were doing what we now think of as bboying/hiphop dance they (those who are into it) wouldn't be so amazed at in modern times if it was something normal to them/their culture:sas2:

Look up videos of bboying in any african country and it's the same all over. They all acknowledge the dance as something they had to learn because it was foreign to them.

Black people were the first to try to capitalize/exploit off the new subculture, not white people:sas1:

I didn't say they came up with the term.
The term is for white people to make money.

Let's reestablish my position:

Rapping was not invent in New York
Rapping over music was not invented in New York
The use of breakbeats was not invented in New York, but rapping over them may have been invented in New York, possibly by a Jamaican

Djing parties in the park happen in Jamaica before New York. Emcee and a selector existed in Jamaica and Miami if not simultaneous, BEFORE New York.

No matter the form of dance, dancing by a black sub culture is not exclusive to New York.

There are similarities in Bboying and Capoeria. Ancient African breakdancing. Hell. Its played to a specific instrument and the tempo determines the movements. It's been around since 1500. And a Capoeria master moved to New York in 1973.

Clothing and language approriating are features of hip hop that exist throughout history where ever the African was taken.

Every. Single. Destinctive feature of hip hop has existed before hip hop. Nothing. Was. Invented.

And y'all just gotta deal with it

@Juneya do you have receipts from Jelon Viera saying that Capoeria influenced breakdancing? Or early breakers saying they were influenced by Capoeria?
Otherwise, what facts do you have to support your theory?

This is again all according to you. Your removing yourself from the facts. Mostly by posting long ass post and hoping I won't read them
:dwillhuh:
He's posting excerpts from books and videos that back up what he says.
You haven't posted any receipts. :francis:

If they been breakdancing since the 1500 in Brazil?????? How does it have nothing to do with Bboying?
The obvious answer would be that Brazil isn't an NYC borough. :lolbron:
Just because something exists, doesn't mean that it directly influenced and birthed something that comes later. You need to give us receipts for this claim that Capoeria directly influenced breakdancing. :feedme:

A lot of these videos speak as tho history started in 1970. They don't refute what I'm saying because I'm talking about before 1970

I don't really care what happen the night the world first got a hold of the new shyt. I'm talking about how they got to the new shyt. And that is not being refuted by ANY of these videos you post.

They are cool to see tho. And I sincerely do appreciate you posting them.
The videos don't have to refute anything. You have to post receipts to back up your claims that the many different elements of what we call "hip hop" existed in the same configuration in other places outside of NY before or at the same time as early 70s NYC.
