Especially in a book that was not written by God, but by several men with fukked up ideals, and has been proven countless times that it's been altered heavily over the years. The Bible says if you're getting attacked, you should turn the other cheek, and implore him to beat you up even more as a way to "resist evil". Nah. (Matthew 5:39)

The Bible says you need to cut off your woman's hand if she defends you in a fight. ( Deuteronomy 25:11-12)

The Bible says if you happen to disobey any of the laws God has put before you, you have to eat your children. (Leviticus 26:14-30)

Believe if you want, but if you're going to listen to "God's word", you should realize that there's so much ridiculous shyt in that book that we're ALL guilty of, and regardless of sexuality we're ALL sinners in the eyes of God. If you can't find it in yourself to support or not even give a shyt about what gay people are doing in their private lives, don't use religion or God's word as a crutch to hide you're just a homophobe.

and my issue to fix it is very simple its called a same sex union that gives same sex couples the same legal rights as a married person for all social security estate and tax issues

and in fact I would even change the legal name of opposite sex marriage as Legal Unions and take the word marriage out of the legal system and leave it to tradition and religion

i'm not upset, it's just a matter of principle. I believe marriage should be between opposite sex.

It doesn't matter if it's a small fee. Benefits for normal marriage exists to encourage couples to make and raise babies properly which helps further our society. Gay marriage has no benefit to us at all.
