Mox seemed to never be happy when he was solo, seemed like he was always happier when he was with the Shield. Whenever they would reunite or have programs together.
Moxley was lied to like everybody else. Khan promised a serious sports based product. Next thing you know u got dudes with no legs wrestling, that goof Orange Cassidy main eventing, talented guys like Starks, MJF, Hangman Page BARELY WRESTLE, HORRIBLE women’s division, the world champ appears on a 3rd rate promotion doing dumb shyt. Is it any wonder Moxley wanna go back to WWE?
The fukked up thing is that WWE doing the big fight sports feel leagues better than AEW with 50/50 booking and all. Everything Dub is doing, that shyt reeks of Vince's failed ideas. Of course Moxley wants to come crawling back to the WWE. Dude already looks washed out there:
While Ambrose gimmick was silly as hell, it was leagues better than whatever the hell he's doing in AEW right now. All they could have done is make Moxley be the character that he was in NJPW and it would be a wrap, but lolz.
- Doing random squash matches with randoms
- Losing to Omega without no type of long term redemption arc to get the gold back
- The midgets are taking over with the swarm of locusts
- Nothing for his character
I have a real gut feeling that there will be more to come with how badly managed AEW truly is, until then Its all smokes and mirrors...literally
He rose to the top of the mountain too fast and now don't have anything to do. He should have been building up that TV title first and then afterwards going to the title.. Plus this relfects on AEW roster too.. They should have done more aggressive signings like Bischoff did
Also the fact that his debut made no damn sense once the feud with Omega was over. Dude came into AEW on a warpath, had a hardcore match with Omega, and just stuck in some sort of limbo. I don't know if he is a lunatic, GI Joe, Submission specialist, or the ace of AEW.
Meanwhile, when he was in NJPW for a bit, he was this legit badass that drank the blood of lambs and wolves for a living. He even made Suzuki feel like he was in PANCRASE again. Yet, for some strange reason he could not be that exact same character on AEW. Its like this, why folks hated his 2019 vaccine game, lets keep it a buck...it was such good shyt literally. The problem is that Moxley did not trust the process. Thus, thinking the grass is green on the other side of the ring, yet fail to see the writing on the wall.
You have a promotion dedicated to a group of egotistical indie favorites, a midcarder that wants to be a main eventer, a bloated shell of the past, and a world wide superstar that so happens to fizzle out during the hype of being called up to the WWE only to be stuck in limbo with AEW and trying to crawl back out of that self sabotage because he wanted to push the younger talent.
The more I try to get AEW a pass, the grim reminder that maybe that "AEW STINKS" thread is a gift from God to expose the hypocrisy and nonsense from that promotion.
