This is a stupid headline/clickbait article. They literally asked him if he would be open to coming back to WWE. He didn't bring it up. So, of course he'll say he's open to it. Why would he say no? He's not trying to fukk up his wife's money.

He'll probably never go back on a full-time basis, but I've always assumed he'd come back for that RR through WM legends stimulus whenever they decide to use The Shield in that role.

Moxley was lied to like everybody else. Khan promised a serious sports based product. Next thing you know u got dudes with no legs wrestling, that goof Orange Cassidy main eventing, talented guys like Starks, MJF, Hangman Page BARELY WRESTLE, HORRIBLE women’s division, the world champ appears on a 3rd rate promotion doing dumb shyt. Is it any wonder Moxley wanna go back to WWE?

Well these shoots happen right after they get released, so they still feeling a type of way. I'm sure he happy with his life now, so he able to speak on it and not get salty.
This was a very casual answer for later on in his career, not like he's pining to go back.

You gotta say never say never, because you don't want to run back what you said years later because you don't know what'll happen. Just the creation of AEW was so vital to the wrestling industry, and that's part of the reason why I'm so proud to be a part of it. I wouldn't rule out ever doing business with them again, we had a mutually beneficial relationship for a long time. If they called I would listen, but I highly doubt we would ever be on the same page. I'd be open to an idea. I don't not like money. I got a kid on the way and gotta put it through college so ya know. I would take a phone call, but I highly doubt anything would materialize.
