You're assuming that the Dems and Reps are given the same level of blame by the public.

It's common knowledge that the Democrats are held to a higher standard while being less respected - and with this - they are given a slim margin of error with any of their moves.

That 1.8t wouldve failed and Nancy would've got blame for putting fourth the WH deal instead of the Mitch backed deal.

You are totally dismissing the fact that there is a 3T deal that Mitch is holding on his desk - is he getting blame for that?

Having read comments on social media, the narrative is that its fault on both sides and not exclusive to the Repubs

Time to be real with yourself and adopt the understanding that there's a large majority of white people that are invested in the logic that minorities should not be entitled concessions/subsidies and they are willing to forfeit these items if that means minorities are in line to suffer.
