If they went for 12 we'd be hearing the exact same arguments and we'd be going through the exact same things right now. They dont wanna give an inch IMO
how? sinemas state is already 12, and manchin said he was OK with 11 :mindblown:

plus that 1.3 million jobs that the CBO said 15 will kill? its probably like 1.3 thousand at 12 an hour. no hiding behind that either

I just feel that there's a whole lot of business and politicians that say now that they would of been ok w/ 12 now that 15 is the conversation. If this would of came out as 12 from the jump I think it would of been handled differently. I really just don't trust these guys when it comes to the minimum wage. I feel like they always gonna push it.

no one promised you dikkheads anything :mjlol:

what even made you incorrectly assume that the democrats can just do whatever they want with a 50/50 senate :mindblown:

Bro, polls have shown up to 60 percent of Republicans wanted a raise to the minimum wage. Manchin and Sinema' s states both want it. Florida voted for it. Today's Republican base might be more racist but there not as fiscally conservative. We campaigned against a popular policy and took a major L for no reason

stop lashing out because you have childish, unrealistic expectations. there's a lot of congressional districts in this country between new york and california

Biden being terrified of using any executive power for anything other than reversing Trump-era things is infuriating. Could have avoided the whole nonsense over tax forgiveness if the White House just did this.

He's going to pretty much be a hands off let the people he appointed do all the work POTUS. It is what it is atp.

:francis::dwillhuh:
Biden did:gucci: I'm sure you're going to say the same thing about the VRA, police reform, student loans etc as well when all of these are easily researched. What's the point in voting and winning both seats in GA if the Democratic party is just as gridlocked as the GOP and barely anything gets done? I know you'll probably be :blessed: when the GQP retakes Congress. :scust:

breh...the democrats dont have 60 seats :mindblown: your expectations are not realistic. a 51/50 majority isnt changing the min wage for the entire country

whats the point of voting? how about the fact that not ONE DIME of this 1.9 trillion would be spent if they hadnt taken 50 seats?

This is nonsense because Manchin's own constituents, as well as his Republican governor, want things like a big stimulus and a $15 minimum wage.

The only thing Manchin is concerned about is his donors and his own pockets. It has nothing to do with not being in New York or California.

That's like saying be Happy you're getting moldy bread instead of Starving. Biden over and over again stated win the POTUS and GA and everyone gets a stimulus, minimum wage at $15, VRA, etc. He could get Republicans and Democrats to work together. So far it's been a disaster.
No minimum wage

Means tested pared down Covid relief

VRA, infrastructure, police reform all DOA

And he still hasn't cancelled $10K it was all BS to get elected. Otherwise he'd have Sinema, manchin etc fall in line

How are you going to sell that to voters and expect them to vote for you? You can't.
