Had to file a paper return cuz my agi from 2019 was incorrect. Did some investigating and my so called 2019 tax return is "lost" in the IRS system. Takes 2 months to get a return if you file a paper return, might even take more for me since someone claimed one of my dependents. The latest info the irs has on me is from my 2018 return and I don't even use that bank anymore. If these stimulus payments go out before any of my 2020 info is processed, I'm completely fukked. Didn't get the last stimulus check, didn't get my 2019 refund, and still waiting on unemployment from march to june of last year. Murphy's Law

They aren't passing shyt. Probably just used the minimum wage as an angle to get elected. If they cared they'd tell the parliamentarian to fukk off and Manchin/Sinema to fall in line. Same thing they did last spring putting that HEROES act out there knowing it wouldn't get passed Republicans. Then when they do get elected the HEROES act essential worker bonus is nowhere to be found.
Quick question : why did they need to include the minimum wage increase in the stimulus package ? Couldnt they pass it after ?
I feel it's crazy that the urgency of sending stimulus is being slowed down by this. It seems this could have been 2 separate issues.
