However, while I think most people will bounce which will cause problems of it's own, cause internal migration can cause disruptions, but not as severe as to say people from other countries would

I'm curious if there would be an eventual retreat back, especially when you take into consideration of tech that comes with skyscrapers.

Eventually, it's just how we can mitigate it or adapt to it, some people say it'll end up like Atlantis, others would argue it'd be closer to Venice.
