I’m hearing Biden could possibly lower the threshold for the next stimulus check e.g. instead of $75K as the phase out of the full amount, it’d be $60K or something like that.

If that’s the case, would the payments be based on 2019 tax return AGI or could it be for 2020 AGI? I know people have already received their W2s and filing season is around the corner.

Probably 2019 as its already on file. I think the $600 checks went out based on 2019 tax returns.

I just filed my taxes and we had a child that wasnt claimed the year before due to custody agreement but was a dependent for 2020. It gave us back that money for $1100 added onto the returns. So if any of yall didnt get your stimulus it will do the same thing. It asks you how much you received for each stimulus total and will give you the missing money based on your situation.

Would this be the case even if you’ve filed your 2020 tax returns? Let’s say your income went above the threshold for a full payment based on 2020 AGI, would it be better to get the check first or would it not matter.

I think the IRS is going to be using 2019 through tax filing season like they used 2018 during the stimulus checks last Spring

Synema, Manchin and a bunch of other Dems are clutching their pearls over the filibuster. We ain't getting shyt til the spring. Calling it now, the Dems will lose both chambers and Bidens Unity message and working with terrorists is to blame. He should've burned these ReThugs and told every Dem to fall in line or he'll support a primary like McConnell would. Watching the Democrats govern is like being a Jets fan. There needs to be a Dem version of McConnell/Trump without all the bigotry, racism, corruption etc that can strike fear into these people. This is maddening. The Democratic party is having to ask McConnell to run the country.
This should be hilarious to up in a few years.

Dems have already scheduled votes that indicate they’re moving forward with the stimulus without Republican votes.

Legit Biden's been president for 8 days.

Ppl started getting their federal UI bump like last week (Signed 12/27), and a lot of people on unemployment like me won't get benefits for a few more weeks because that extra day of Trump delay.

And they're already fukking complaining :mjlol:
