If the irs portal says your check was mailed it's coming.

The IRS pushed back the start of tax season because checks "mailed" on the 6th can take up to 5 weeks to show up.

From what I’ve seen for people who are still waiting. If The IRS Doesn't Send Your Payment, You'll Need To Claim The $600 Payment By Filing Your 2020 Tax Return

And if you owe the IRS when you file, you won't be getting that money. It will be used to offset your tax liabilities.

The good news, is the second stimulus probably won't go out until March, so if you file your taxes starting Feb 12, those people will probably get that third payment.

Can you explain this for me?

Let’s say you do your taxes and u end up owing $1500 in back taxes because your job didn’t withhold enough or you got unemployment and opted not to withhold taxes. Your $600 credit will be credited and you will only owe the IRS $900 instead of $1500. On the flip side, if you were going to get a $1500 refund, that credit would boost it to $2100.
