Democrats need to fukking pound home the point, we wanted a better package, the president even agreed with us. Congressional Republicans did not. Now not getting his way, the president won't even sign off on the original bill. Republicans in the federal govt hate Americans, they want you to suffer, they want you die, they want your children to suffer, they want your children to die. They don't want to help you.

I don’t think the Democrats and Republicans understand how grave the lapse of these benefits will be for the unemployed. There should NEVER have been a push for stimulus checks, a measure that Biden could have picked up after he was sworn in. I am absolutely livid that the inclusion of a paltry $600 stimulus check may have have cost millions of families from seeing their unemployment extended through the winter. This enrages me. Where is the Democratic messaging? We are on the precipice of a national emergency if Trump does not sign the bill today. Where the fukk are the Democrats?
