I don’t think the Democrats and Republicans understand how grave the lapse of these benefits will be for the unemployed. There should NEVER have been a push for stimulus checks, a measure that Biden could have picked up after he was sworn in. I am absolutely livid that the inclusion of a paltry $600 stimulus check mauve have cost millions of families from seeing their unemployment extended through the winter. This enrages me. Where is the Democratic messaging? We ate on the precipice of a national emergency if Trump does not sign the bill today. Where the fukk are the Democrats?

I'm as critical of Dem messaging/leadership as the next guy but what else can Dems do or say to get the avg American to see who is holding up relief? Mitch McConnel doesn't get name dropped as often as the GOP will name drop Pelosi but he gets his shots thrown at him. The only place Dems need to worry about hounding this is in Georgia. Without that majority nothing else matters
