I think there's a very simple way to look at this.

The Dems passed a stimulus bill, much larger.. through the house and Mitch didn't bring it to vote. It wouldn't have passed through the Senate but who cares, the Dems were for it.

There were other times through this process where the Dems could have made a deal.. possibly... and maybe they did play politics and they wanted Trump out of office but nowhere did I ever see Mitch and Senate Republicans agree to stimulus checks worth $2000/person.

Several times through this process Dems have brought $2000 to the table. Republicans already agreed to the current bill.

Quite literally the only change being made is to up the payments from $600 to $2000

Republicans aren't agreeing to those terms.

How in the fukk are the Dems in the wrong here?

Yes but even here in Higher Learning you'll have posters be like "Dems fukked up, they need to work on their messaging!"

That might be true for some issues like for example "defund the police" was dumb as hell..

but for most issues Dems don't need to work on messaging, there is literally nothing else they could do. You cannot FIX stupidity and you cannot FIX racism.. straight up most cacs will vote against themselves receiving $2000 even if they are broke as fukk just to side with Republicans and "own" the liberals...
