We got our 1.67 million loan deposit from the SBA yesterday. As soon as our CFO gave us the list to get things, we gave her the docs to get it. If we use it 75% for just salaries for under $100K, we can use 25% for non-payroll related items and not have to pay it back. To track things, we've been coding things to "COVID" in ADP Workforce. Since I approve payroll for my company, it's a great thing to easily seen when we run reports in our accounting software.

Is it your understanding that you have to spend the 1.67 within 8 weeks?

This is if it isn't forgiven. Rent, Mortgage Interest, Payroll(Under 100K) & Utilities can be forgiven but 75% of it has to be spent on payroll. So for people that make over 100K, lets say 120K, 100K can be covered under this and 20K won't be. We will have to make a forgiveness application submission. I just need to make sure that the books are done right as the controller, lol.

This is a harmful take.

Unfortunately because we jumped on this, we did stop the worst of it. But that means you can’t project forward like the worst has happened.

Dems can’t panic legislate. They unfortunately have to wack-a-mole with Republicans
You're right, republicans own the shop...and they'll get the blame. I'm amazed Trump doesn't realize that giving people money is his best shot. This isn't over. We're going to get a second wave, and everyone will be able to point at Trump.

Our economy is built on consumption. If people are still getting sick and dying, old people will largely stay home. Companies will still need money. People will still be unemployed. Speaking of UE, the government benefits run out July 31st. Are republicans going to let that happen? The Biden/democrat response is obvious: extend the benefits and throw in another phase of checks to Americans.

#Theresistance continuing their stellar record of resisting Trump and the Republicans by giving them a stern lecture before handing them 99% of what they asked for. :mjlol:

I mean for anyone who thinks a weak federal government is a good idea is getting a crash course in why that’s a bad idea.

The truth of the matter is I believe Fauci has told Congress this is a long-term problem. The 12 month vaccine is being slowly walked back but they don’t want to snuff out hope.

Trump has consistently tried to push whatever optimism that would end this situation immediately. Warm weather in April or that hydrox????????? drug. America is basically going at it month to month.

The reason Europe is fairing better is they at least put down a timetable six months out as a baseline(basically when a second wave would hit)

These are all self inflicted wounds by the GOP, so the obvious question is what's their goal?

Is thia just a result of incompetence? :patrice:

Are they excited about thinning thw heard? Most of the at risk people dying are probably on some type of assistance. :patrice:

Is this just God's will? :patrice:

Or are they happy with the results in general? :patrice:

All in all it is hilarious to me because they could have taken it serious from the start, got the correct amount of testijg reaources out in the wild and eased restrictions as they alqays intended to do without the current debacle. :beli:
