Stillmatic just takes me back to an era. Both great classics but if u had to pick one it’s stillmatic

That intro is timeless

The poll is nuts.

Stillmatic is cool and I prefer Nas as a rapper, but Blueprint is just way way better. Jay is a GOAT, partly due to this album.

Both 5/5. Blueprint just very smooth and better put together; more of a "masterpiece" type of album. Stillmatic has lots of envelope pushing and experimental/concept tracks, but it's not as consistent.

Conceptually, Stillmatic is a better album

It's a more lyrical album

It's a deeper album

BP is carried by production, Stillmatic is carried by substance

Let's not act like Jay didn't go in his bag on a few of those Blueprint songs. Lyrical Exercise, Heart of the City, Renegade, ect

Lyrically, BP was weak...especially compared to previous efforts like RD & Vol 1

If you compare BP to Stillmatic lyrically, Stillmatic blows BP out the water

Jigga had beats tho but he wasn't saying nothing on BP

I disagree. It might not be one of his most lyrical albums, but he was saying a lot. Outside of 4:44, this was Jay z's most personal album.

Stillmatic 7 of the first 8 songs were good (smokin is trash) then the album fell off a cliff

My Country so forgettable I forgot it was on the album
Flyest
Rule
Every Ghetto

the only song worth a damn after track 8 is What Goes Around

no Nas Stan ever talks about those mid ass records. But this a Classic :mjlol:
