Myra was definitely giving up ass, Laura you had to work for it. Playing the game blindfolded and backwards while driving a tricycle with 2 wheels

Was definitely crushing on Myra back then. She was in another stratosphere compared to cold fish Laura. It was just one of those things where the nerd had to always lose, and play emotional clean up duty. Just phased in and out of the show back then (not really cool to put one of your best shows on a Friday).

Its like most shows it was good the first few seasons and got stale as fukk when they tried doing much with it or added additional cast members that were terrible...IE Good Times,Diffrent Strokes,Cosby Show,In Living Color.

Good Times fell off when John Amos left the show. Diff'rent Strokes fell off when Gary Coleman got older. The Cosby Show fell off, , someone help me out here. In Living Color fell off when Damon and Keenan left the show.

Tried to support it at first, but it was straight Cosby Show ripoff shyt. Nintendo was just booming back then, so I missed a lot of the Urkel episodes, even if they almost always delivered. Very underrated show, that should've been on Monday's-Wed's to get more of the word out. On Friday, nobody's really reprint a show unless it's a blowout. Legit came close with White.

Living Color losing Damon Wayans was the biggest hit though. They could legit make people forget a great SNL cast during their run. I feel like Jim Carrey took more risks with Damon around. Lost some ingenuity when Kennan went behind the camera.

Quite as kept, one of the reasons I stopped fukking with this show as a kid was that I didn't like how all the bytches was on that corny nikka, Stefan Urkell's, dikk. The nikka was lame and corny. If that nikka was real he would have been got his ass beat.

Thats partly why the cast couldnt get along that well once it started turning into "The Steve Urkel Show". I think the moms was mostly the upset one.

I remember reading a few times that the chick playing "Myra" a few months after the show was done. She had cancer. Passed in like 1998. Crazy to think that '98 was almost 20 years ago already.

Nah, A Different World got way better when Lisa Bonet left. She was only there for one season. Her leaving allowed them to focus on everyone else and we got great characters out of her leaving...

Screech was fukking garbage. I can see why kids liked him but as an adult I hate that fukker. I watch reruns of that show sometimes and that wack ass character really kills the flow of the show.

young screech was low-key one of the more entertaining parts of the show. he was the perfect co-defendant for zach. and his naivete/stupidity fit him for his age.

but then he got older. got taller. hit puberty, voice-wise. and continued to act like a 2nd grader.

same thing happened with urkel, really.

one of these days, a show producer will realize letting the nerd grow up and out of his shell would be way more realistic. and interesting.

The show was a 90s staple but didn't last the test of time, right now it's corny.
