You can credit Mark Jackson for their defensive identity, but I dont see how you can argue his offense was better than current Warriors. There is absolutely nothing to back that up

Steph Curry's game was more dynamic under Jackson, that's obvious to anyone who watches basketball.

I've never said the team offense was better, or that he's even a championship level coach.

My argument has been that Warriors fans blatant disrespect of the work he put in is all due to their personal issues with him. One guy in this thread has said he didn't draft anyone on the team, had no input on any decisions, poisoned the locker room and didn't improve the team whatsoever.

Steve Kerr is an average coach who is good at next game adjustments, absolutely terrible at in game adjustments, and garners no respect from his players. Typical run of the mill coach. But he's been propped up at the expense of a coach who was no worse than he is. Kerr himself said the team was ready-made. But but but Mark Jackson didn't do anything, right @Miami316 ?

Especially since they not only never make any argument for Jackson except that they went from awful to not awful while claiming natural progression is why the team improved so much, but they actually think it's a good argument to try using their success they've had under Kerr as an indictment of his coaching and a means of propping up Jackson.

Just remembered Cavs won the championship vs a coach of the year that coached only half the season too. Cavs REALLY monsooned on GS parade this season. But to be fair, last year Warriors fukked Lebrons storybook return too.

I see you didn't address green getting burn over David lee or the Warriors adding motion off the ball to their offense, or cutting back on the mid range shots for more 3's. Jackson did not draft these players. Explain why green was glued to the bench for David lee to play. Explain the toxic atmosphere around the organization he fostered. Explain the isolation heavy offense. You're really reaching with this drafting the players nonsense as if they don't have a general manager. I also couldn't help but notice you built your entire argument on wins and losses as opposed to what the coach actually does. By your same standard, Erik spoelstra must be a great coach right? I mean he turned a 15 win team in repeat champs right?
