Jackson did not draft these players. Explain why green was glued to the bench for David lee to play. Explain the toxic atmosphere around the organization he fostered. Explain the isolation heavy offense. You're really reaching with this drafting the players nonsense as if they don't have a general manager. I also couldn't help but notice you built your entire argument on wins and losses as opposed to what the coach actually does. By your same standard, Erik spoelstra must be a great coach right? I mean he turned a 15 win team in repeat champs right?

A coach does not win or lose, wtf are you talking about lol.

Jackson was the head coach and he drafted those players. Why didn't the GM's draft any players for Kerr first year? because they had jackson do all the dirty work. Kerr had it easy, played hurt teams his first year, then his second year on his own he lost.

Toxic atmosphere, you played with the lol, that's media rumors to justify getting rid of Jackson. They do that all the time, to get rid of coaches and players lol.

:mjlol: Jackson did not have roster control. The general manager drafted those players. They didn't draft them for Kerr because they already had them. If Jackson were any good and didn't build such a rotten atmosphere, why hasn't anyone hired him or even entertained the idea?

Should be 2 titles :yeshrug:. Also has no finals MVPs. If he didn't spend so much time off the ball and getting banged around, that might be different.

and maybe it wouldnt :yeshrug:

I mean you just did suggest that his career high point total carried more weight than back to back MVPs :skip:

I didn't suggest that at all. I can suggest his game was a lot more mixed and hard to stop under Mark Jackson. OKC and the Cavs showed that if all you have Steph doing is shooting 26 foot 3s and driving into 4 people, you can pretty much limit him when it counts.

Before this "innovative" offense, he used his midrange, floaters, and pull ups a lot more. He also created a whole lot more for other players.

I dont know about that, results speak for themselves. Dude just won unanimous MVP and 73 games, something is obviously working within that structure

Im not going to base all my Curry observations on two playoff series after he was just coming off a injury that sidelined him for multiple playoff games

You can credit Mark Jackson for their defensive identity, but I dont see how you can argue his offense was better than current Warriors. There is absolutely nothing to back that up

Not only that, the evidence shows the offense was worse under Jackson. This is a Kobe Stan quality argument based off no truth. Strictly stannery or dislike for Kerr.

Golden State wins and Steve Kerr is the god coach.

Golden State blows a 3-1 Finals lead and what?
He DIDN'T get outcoached for 3 games?

How much caping is enough for these dudes?

Breh,

Nobody here thinks Golden State sucks.
Nobody thinks Kerr or Curry or Klay or Draymond sucks.

But if you hint at any sort of criticism or suggest that MAYBE they're not that great...then the coli becomes a bunch of

And 99% of it isn't actually coming from Warriors fans..

This team became a symbol for the now>>>then debates that have been escalated since the 2012 Olympics and the pencil pusher culture that developed shortly after..

The failure of the 2016 Warriors is "Bigger Than Nino Brown!!"

I noticed you still haven't responded to my truthful post directly rebutting your arguments for Kerr and his great offense.
