This is on HBO I still like it a lot, they nailed that 80's "Stand by Me" feel to it, the child actors were great. It's not "scary" really to me of course I'm a lot more :flabbynsick: now so it's not going to be but I imagine this scared the fukk outta kids and it was definitely creepy. All the child abuse and pervert shyt :picard:

The guy at the counter of the Pharmacy flirting with Beverly and her father :scust:

Mike being scared to kill the lamb in the beginning plus his family being burned in the house :sadcam:

Eddies mother weird obsession and overprotective ness

Bill has to deal with his littler brothers murder by a cosmic demon disguised as a clown :damn:

There's this lingering theme of perversion in the film that just ramps up the creepiness factor to 10. If Pennywise ain't scaring them then its the faulty shytty adults scaring them. Or its them being bullied.

This shyt is a nightmare for the kids and that's what makes the movie so good. The tension is always there. Which makes you care for the characters way more.

Watched it for the first time on HBO. I liked it :ehh:

I could never pay attention when the original was on TV since it seemed slower than the horror movies I was already exposed to at a young age.

For example I used to watch Nightmare on Elmstreet 5 (which has an Easter egg in here) all the time because he'd turn into Super Freddy:mjgrin:

Wait a minute....

The kids were able to beat It by not being afraid of him, just like how the Elm Street kids beat Freddy :ohhh:

I give It a 3.5/5.
