The main reason the media can't shyt on curry is cause he won the chip the same year he became a superstar in the league. Bron was a superstar for years before he won anything. Same reason wade never got the heat bron did even tho his team was missing the offs or first round exits

Curry receives no criticism because he wasn't projected to be this good. He was injured early in his career and the first major breakout season he had he won the championship. Then the very next season he breaks the regular season wins record. Then the third season Kevin Durant joins and dims his spotlight.
Lebron, Melo, CP3, etc had to play through with a lot of growing pains WHILE they were allstars/superstars and were projected to be such early in their careers.

Curry doesn't get the criticism for a few reasons, but the most prevalent is that his ceiling wasn't supposed to be this high. He looked impressive during those Davidson runs, lead the NCAA in scoring his last year and all that, but he was injured and inconsistent af his first few seasons (And even then he was serviceable with 17/4/5 and 18/3/5 in his first two seasons) . It wasn't til after that first All Star Snub and him going off for 50+ in MGS, the Nuggets playoff comeback against Iggy & co. that people started thinking otherwise. Then he started improving each season after, until his Superstar Explosion came during the season his team took a major leap and they won a chip.
Hell yeah Curry is protected.....
