Nobody has been more protected by the media than westbrook, if any other MVP candidate played as stupid & wild as him they would get crucified...and he's about to get rewarded for it
It's unbelievable really. Even with last playoff game. Dude had 51 points on 43 shots. All I've heard all week is praise for a 50 point triple double. Smh.

It's true.

Whites, Latinos, Asians would all empathize with him a bit more because of his light skin.:ld:

Ppl jus watch highlights and look at the stat line after the game. If you actually watch this man's game you can see that he just plays out right erratic and selfish ball. Like dude legit lacks the basic fundamentals.

Westbrook got killed every time for when OKC lost, it was never KD. It was always Westbrook not passing..maybe you need to turn your TV on.

As for Steph, he gets attention because he is good. But then the kids love him too, and women too with the Ayesha Curry/Riley Curry stuff.

Wouldn't say protected they just have more tastier low hanging fruit with Durant, warriors and born. Deep down everyone knows all his feats are in vain anyways the fact he's in OKC is an extra meh. If he was in a big market like LA or NY there would be consequences for his tomfoolery

On one hand

Jason Kidd got a pass for beating his wife.

But on the other hand

mahmoud abdul-rauf got black balled.

Historically, nah. Not really. No biased.

Curry gets so much praise and respect because he was an under dog coming into the NBA.
Nobody expected him to be MVP/Superstar status.

Curry is playing with house money at this point.

We're talking about this season...Nobody holds russ accountable everything is "he has no help"

When curry went through his shooting slump that man got killed by everybody which was justified because he was playing like trash

But westbrook goes 4/18 in the 4th and shoots them out the game after having the lead and it's a thousand excuses on why he HAD to do that. lol the shyt is insane

he doesnt get enough respect from the media. like people say harden and westbrook are better than him like playoffs dont matter

You talking about the same media that voted him back to back mvp and the only unanimous mvp in nba history ?
