I think even ESPN knows that SAS is becoming too of a big to remain under the ESPN umbrella, which is the reason why they are trying to set up Perk to be his eventual replacement. Only problem with that is Perk lacks the charm, charisma and talking ability that's helped make SAS who he is today.
He'll be 54 this year, so if he's going to make the jump into the entertainment world then it needs to be here in the next few years. He's too big of a commodity for The Mouse to lose though, so they're gonna have to figure something out to convince him to stay.
