In MJ's 1st final apperance dude average 31.2pts, 11 ast, 6.6 rebs, and 2.8 Steals. Plus he hit a game winner.
He then went on to aver 41...yes I said 41 points in another finals appearance.

What does numbers have to do with skill level? Shaq scored more points than most centers but he wasn't nearly as skilled as the others.
It's easy but, it's not indicative of how good Kobe really is/was. In 96, he started 7 games & put up 7ppg. In 97, he started 1 game & put up 15ppg.
From then on it was 20ppg, 23ppg, 29ppg, 25ppg, 30ppg, 24ppg, 27ppg, 35ppg, 32ppg, 28ppg, 27ppg, 27ppg, 25ppg, 28ppg. Those first 2 years don't accurately describe him.

Do you really want to compare dribbling, jump shooting, passing, post game, footwork, defense on ball - off ball? Those are all skill sets

I think Lebron being considered more skilled than MJ is jokes. He's more of an impressive physical specimen but not a more skilled player. Skills are what you LEARN and ACQUIRE, not what you're born with, so I refuse to say Lebron is skilled for being able to jump higher, run faster, etc.
Jordan has him on mid range game, handles, free throw percentage, he's a more skilled(but less versatile) defender and just as good of a 3 point shooter statistically.
I'll give Lebron the edge on passing and rebounding(strictly due to his physical skills).
Lebron is the better Athlete. Jordan is a more skilled basketball player. Kobe Bryant is also more skilled than Lebron btw.
Jordan a career 50% from the field shooting way more jumpers than Lebron too. Shooting guards WISH they could do that these days. He did it with HAND CHECKING ALLOWED lol.

Man the fact that it still stands out despite Washington shows how high on the swagmeter that shot was tho. When I think of Jordan's "last shot" I always think about this one, Washington was on some "deleted scenes" shyt
Anyway Bron is a great basketball player, I feel he's improved this year but Jordan had more skills. Kobe too, but now even I have to admit Bron is the better player (despite not being more skilled, his physical quality and playing with better players this year have a big role in that).
