Lol, I won’t care less by then. Brehs should just give Russ his flowers is all. He might be a sabotaging bone head at times but brehs heart in the right place and no one plays harder.

Oh I give him props for all that he does and what he's doing. I just don't think that it translates into winning. That goes for him and his teammate who everyone insists on getting out of town. That's why I also mentioned the point that it's unfair of how Beal is seemingly being let off the hook just because people want him to get treated.

One is just as culpable for the teams failures as the other since both are looked upon as superstar players.

I mean SAS was 100% correct and even prefaced it by saying he respects Russ as a man. Russ then basically said 'I'm good as a man'. And Russ and his wife were also correct. Really nobody was wrong other than painting what SAS said as slander. Thats the game. The talking heads will talk and give opinions about folks on the court.
Russ just doesn’t want to accept any criticism:mjlol:

That’s the problem

Lol so wat exactly did he say that was wrong
Nothing. Again fam, SA has a purpose.

I tried to convey in my og post that athletes cant fall for his boistrous opinions and baiting them everytime . Its a show! A show! Paid for by fans and advertisers.

So why engage ? Legacy? Ego? Attention? Engaging SA doesnt make them bread, a better player, a better person, etc. So why ?

Do athletes see a first take show and be like damn maybe i should work on my footwork or rebounding? While
Ignoring teammates and coaches? Doubt it.

I won’t disagree on those points. What I will say tho is I think Russ hasn’t had the best of luck with running mates after KD left. Georogirkeje pausoekjdjsl is a cat fishing bytch and unreliable in the postseason, Oladipo don’t move the needle, neither did Adams fr. KD’s success in comparison makes for lazy conclusions that Russ was somehow holding him back when KD was supposedly the leader and decided to sellout Russ and a 3-1 lead to his future team.

I still think you could build a team around Russ. However, he really needs to improve his jumper regardless of what you put around him talent wise.

I think the best chance that he had was that last year in OKC with PG before the shoulder injury(s). PG was legit a top 3 MVP at that point and was looking like he was going to finally change the narrative about his career at the time. Even then, they both still disappointed as a tandem combined and that speaks volumes about the both of them as players.

I think his game is what it is at this point and he's too prideful and stuck in his ways to do anything and change it.

I mentioned Catfish P already. Harden has his own postseason demons. If anything, it further proves my point that he hasn’t had the best luck with teammates. Mind you, there are things Russ can do to improve his own game to boost his odds but he’s had to team up with a lot of mental midgets, KD included.

I knew better than to believe in PG but you may be right and Russ seems fine with that. I personally don’t think it’s the end of the world if he worked to get his jumper right. He was great when he had that midrange going.

For the record, I wish that PG, CP3, Westbrook and Harden could all win a chip before they call it a career as it would help rid of the stink from their previous postseason failures.

This is the culture y’all created. We got guys like SAS thinking they can freely shyt on the top athletes of the generation for clout.

Russ being ringless and stuck in DC has nothing to do with his talent and what he’s doing. It’s all or nothing with you nikkas, and even when somebody gets it all (ie a ring) y’all find another way to belittle them if it fits the agenda.

People who cover the NBA actually hate the NBA
this is prevalent with both the media and many "fans", as well. it seems like it's done purposely.

for example - i don't listen to sports radio anymore, but like 70% of the callers i'd hear would call in just to shyt on it claiming they haven't loved it since the Jordan days.
