The only thing one can argue that Westbrook has over CP3 is those two MVP awards and those triple double seasons. Even then, those still didn’t amount to anything as he got washed out of the playoffs in the first round.

Triple doubles is an accomplishment, yes. But putting up numbers doesn't mean anything if you don't win. He's averaging a triple double this season, yet the team is ass. That's on him and Beal as they are looked upon by some people as superstar players.

I’m not saying whether it is or isn’t, Oscar ain’t win hella titles neither. But it still counts for something is my point. People just argue that it doesn’t count because they don’t like Russ or his sometimes boneheaded play style. But it’s still incredibly difficult to do what Russ has done.

For some reason, people don't want to give CP3 props for what he does and has been doing.

You're seeing it now in the MVP consideration where he can't even get a mention. People literally insist in believing that Phoenix would have the 2nd best record in the league even if he wasn't on the roster.

This is a straight cop out by Westbrook and his wife. You are a professional athlete. Your job is to win games. To say winning championships doesn't matter or make your life better is fukkin BULLSHYT. You play to win. Of course being a good person is more important. Of course being able to provide generational wealth to your family who comes from poverty is more important. But to blow off winning championships saying it doesn't matter is a cop out.

Westbrook, Durant and some others need to be much more selective about what they respond to. Sometimes whats said is the actual truth. Just accept it and keep it moving.
