Russ is not a hill im gonna die on but I find it interesting how the narratives have flipped since 2013. Numbers :hula: Rings. The answer seems to change depending on what your favorite player is lacking. :mjpls:

Everybody is putting up superstar numbers today, so by default wins and rings are going to be the determining factor in whose better IMO. You can't claim yourself as All NBA worthy over someone else if you can't at least get your team to the playoffs. That's how I view it :yeshrug:

Stephen a is just doing his job .the entire point of playing i. The NBA is to win a championship, especially if you're one of the best players on the squad

I think I was the one who put two MVPS. I forgot that Harden won the year after instead.

He’s also lost athleticism as the knee injuries are starting to catch up with him.

he did have alot of knee injuries but now he looks ans healty and almost the same as he always did atheletcially

Westbrook is an all time great player, but his style of play is not translating into big playoff wins. "Do you choose championship or money", but champions are getting paid big money too. He's not Bron, Kawhi, Curry or whatever who can get you a championship. He demands the ball too much, had he played better off-ball letting other players shine more, even that big ass contract would be OK for a few playoff teams.

Just seeing all parties statements. No one said anything wrong. Stephen A was just critiquing his game like he does most anyone else. Wasnt that deep for Brodie to go in the direction he went, because I dont feel like he was disrespected---->but Russ wasn't "wrong" for his response, I just think he took it more personal than he needed to...

He is a champion of life and I do believe him, that a championship doesn't make or break him, but I also think because we all recognize him as a true competitor, there's no way he doesn't want to win a ring. No one who enjoys winning doesn't want to win at the highest possible level, so unless we have Russ pegged wrong and he really doesn't care about winning or losing, of course he wants to win a chip...
