I work with a company that does consultancy in that region and people in Riyadh got a real chip on their shoulder about Dubai and want that place and the new cities that are being made to be the next Dubai. They got music festivals there, they are working and getting a Alcohol licenses
Part of the reason so many people went their as expats was not just the money but their kids education was paid for and they had insurance. What if the habibis start paying thre WWE guys them normal athlete salaries and dont have to drive around town to town but in charter buses and planes and get medical insurance?

Liv doesnt have a tv deal because its not the PGA and they dont have an event that can generate the money like the Masters or have a name like Tiger or Rory there.
Acquring a market leader like WWE that has an event like Wrestlemania is a different thing.
Also you should research whats going on in Saudi right now. People gonna have to start grasping the idea that theres a lot of business in the entertainment field being done there.
The difficulty for Tony Khan has been reset again from "casual" to "just sit back and enjoy the story."

If you rich or entertainer, they don't care. This is why I think there is a lot of overreaction here. The worst part is Vince being IN charge again. Everything else will be business as usual with more overseas events
