Curry became a star during the 08,09 NCAA tourney.. something Kyrie couldn't do and went #1 off hype even tho he was hurt damn near half of his first year of college

No being a star in College doesnt automatically translate to the NBA

with that logic Greg Oden is a Hall of Famer :Le_troll:

It doesn't matter what anyone predicted. It's a matter of what actually HAPPENED.

It took Steph what, like 2 years to get Klay Thompson? It only took Steph 2 years to get his Robin and it took LeBron 4x longer:heh:.

You're acting like people were saying the Warriors were a title lock after drafting Klay. :beli:

Now let's compare Curry's first 8 season, and Bron's first 8 season, to kobe's :shaq:

The point is Steph showed growth every season his first 3 seasons before the ankle issues

Even if dubs didn't draft Dray or Klay, Steph would still be a superstar

A lot of scrubs show growth their first three years. Not all have the luck to play with defensive monsters like Draymond, Klay and Iggy however.

And he had to leave his team to do so:heh:. I love how nikkas just love to leave out the context when they're making an argument in this forum:dead:.

LeBron just so happens to be the unluckiest Superstar of all time. Kareem won a title with Milwaukee and then got blessed to be able to sign with the Lakers who got Magic and company later on.

Magic and Larry got drafted to great organizations even though Bird had to wait only a year to get McHale via draft and Parrish via trade.

Jordan was lucky that he came into his own when Larry, Magic and Isaiah were getting old and their respective teams were losing their luster. He played in the weakest era which is why he still won 6 titles even though his teams were nowhere near as talented as those Celtics and Lakers teams. He was also lucky to be able get Pippen 5 years into career.

You drop most of those teams that Jordan faced into this league currently and they get ran the fukk off the court and it wouldn't even be because of the 3pt shot.

You mean the year he started playing with Draymond and Klay's defense? :ohhh:

Warriors drafted well so who's fault is that they made Steph the franchise and built around him accordingly? Mark Jackson was playing David Lee don't act like Draymond came in and became the defensive monster he is now.. it took Steve Kerr to see it and played him over Lee :umad:
