False, kobe first all nba first team selection wasnt until 2002, the last year of the 3 peat. He was drafted several years before that, he wasnt top 5 then but clearly top 10.

I would argue that iverson was a better player he was the current league mvp and at that point prior to his selection, to the first team all nba , iverson was better, kidd , garnet , gary payton was also right there.
