As opposed to recruiting MVPs to your team moments after losing?
again, it's up to KD if he wants to join. Steph didnt put a gun to KD's head and say join or die. and KD left the warriors. Lebron left once Wade and Bosh couldnt help him ring chase

Lebron just said fukk it, he's not gonna be loyal to a team.

LeBron shouldn't need a Kyrie and Love to defeat Steph Curry

that doesn't even sound right but this is what LeBron fans parrot without understanding what they are actually saying.
A team missing it's two best players can't beat a full strength 67 win team. You're talking straight nonsense and you know it, but you're reducing it to two players to try to squeak out a point.

That the Cavs actually took a lead in the series is pretty damning. A full strength Cavs would've won.

What about the "nuance/context" of the Warriors suffering multiple injuries and a suspension after being up 3-1, and then only essentially losing the series by ONE shot? If Bogut doesn't get injured, if Draymond doesn't get suspended, if Iggy and Steph don't play hobbled, what do you think happens?

:lupe:
Draymond getting suspended is really a non-point. A starter accumulating too many flagrant foul points from habitually hitting nikkas below the belt is essentially a larger-scale foul-out. A self-inflicted absence isn't a footnote.

(There was also Kevin Love's concussion, which made him a complete nonfactor)

This is because Lebron is a godly passer as well

Doubling one of the best passers ever is not optimal strategy.

Curry is a great passer too, but they triple him becuase he's literally the greatest shooter ever.

The reality is is that teams don't double Bron partly because he's not a scary 3pt threat.
Look at this:

And they lost once Kerr used the death lineup. They lost 3 straight

add Kevin love and Kyrie and that defense get eaten up.

And they do the same to Harden. Harden might face more aggressive double teams than every other player in the league. Defenses wall the paint off from Lebron to shut off his drives but doubling him just plays to his skillset- he’s going to get his team an open high percentage shot every time. You can get away with doubling guys like Kawhi, Harden, Steph but you can’t double an elite passer.

Steph gets doubled off the ball routinely

Stop the madness
.As great as Bron is, he shouldn't be allowed to have the ball in his hands all game. Make somebody else make those decisions and score

Is it damning the Heat took 2 games off the Lakers this year? :jbhmm: Given Bam was Injured and missed games and their leading scorer in the playoffs got injured?

Can we use your exact same logic to say the Heat would have beat the Lakers if these injuries didn't occur?

Lol steph showed us he’s quitter when not surrounded by all star team. Without KD he’d only have 1 title
That’s debatable. I do think there’s a chance Bron has 5 or 6 rings if KD doesn’t go to GSW, but it’s debatable if the Warriors could have sought revenge if they didn’t have KD running wild with all that space they offered

KD went all types of crazy on the Cavs in 17 finals. High key Steph was enjoying not having all that pressure on him. Man was running around snatching rebounds from Tristan Thompson and smiling up and down the court :russ:

You just ignored the part where I said the Cavs actually pulled ahead in the series, huh?

The Lakers were never in danger at any point in the Heat series. Their losses came off of 2-0 and 3-1 ad advantages. The Cavs had the Warriors flirting with a 1-3 hole.

How is it a "non-point" when it was an important factor that led to the Cavs winning? Without it, the Warriors most probably close that series out in 5.
But it's Draymond's own fault. If one of your matchup swinging players keeps hitting guys in the balls...well that shyt's gonna catch up :pachaha:
