Defenders are focused on Bron, yet he has won finals mvp for every title
1) LeBron doesn't get doubled or tripled before he reaches half court

2) LeBron doesn't get blatantly tripled at the three point line on a fastbreak leaving guys wide open for layup (usually its the reverse)

3) LeBron never got boxed and 1'd.

I'm pretty sure you already knew this tho, and you're just playing coy for no reason.

Despite all that Curry still averaged over 26-27 ppg in those series.

Lol steph showed us he’s quitter when not surrounded by all star team. Without KD he’d only have 1 title
thats literally the story of lebron's team jumping

lebron literally quit in 2010 and went to miami and he was a part of a 66 win team
lebron quit after he lost to the spurs in 2014
lebron quit on the cavs in 2018 once Kyrie left and K Love was reduced to being a spot up shooter

Lebron would definitely quit on the lakers if they didnt grab AD. Let's not forget Lebron was a locker room cancer in the 18-19 season.

A 66 win team he dragged to the ECF with no all-NBA teammates. Curry called it a season after three games and left Draymond and D’angelo Russell high and dry when he couldn’t depend on KD and Klay.
Lebron wasnt injured, steph was. Bron flatout quit on the Cavs

steph literally broke his hand

Lebron just ran away from the grind

Steph really might be the GOAT b/c the supposed GOAT Lebron is always compared with steph. A player 6 inches shorter, and 100lbs lighter :wow:

but why is this done if Steph Curry 'isn't all that great'?

As great of a player that LeBron is, he is not treated like this by defenses on the court. Teams just allow him to handle the ball at will and play however he wants to play. I don't get it.

Doubling one of the best passers ever is not optimal strategy.

who cares? I'd rather Danny Green get 30 than Bron get 40 and 10 assist. Get the ball out of his hands and don't allow him to operate the offense.
that's how teams play Steph, "don't let him touch it"

Steph had 2 hand surgeries and has nerve damage in that hand now. Stop it

Steph didnt get FMVP because the Media slurped lebron also

Jimmy butler did EXACTLY the same thing lebron did in 15. Jimmy willed a team missing the Heat's playoff leading scorer, and had Bam who got injured and missed 2 games. And when Bam came back, he was garbage for the 3 games he was available. Jimmy took 2 games off that Laker team, something no1 else did, and was backed up by 2 rookies and Duncan Robinson (who is a 2nd year player who just started getting significant mins)

Jimmy received ZERO fmvp votes for his valiant effort.

But in 2015, Bron got more votes than Steph (for the exact same narrative)

Steph's playmaking allowed Iggy to get open shots and improve his scoring average

Steph was facing double teams all series and still elevated his MVP scoring numbers.

bytches like Rachel Nichols get a vote, so this is what we end up with

And they do the same to Harden. Harden might face more aggressive double teams than every other player in the league. Defenses wall the paint off from Lebron to shut off his drives but doubling him just plays to his skillset- he’s going to get his team an open high percentage shot every time. You can get away with doubling guys like Kawhi, Harden, Steph but you can’t double an elite passer.
