Not far from where Westbrook was when he won it.

Honestly I don't think Steph is anywhere near a solid MVP case right now. But at this rate he'll get some votes and he's in the running for 1st-team All-MVP.
brodie was putting up a historic individual effort they gave it to him off that

chef just gunning as expected it's not really outside the norm

he will get a few votes but that's just off respect for his resume overall

Honestly I don't think either one deserved it at all. But Steph right now is playing better than Westbrook did in 2017. Imagine 2017 Westbrook in this lineup, the team would suck ass and Draymond and him might have come to blows already.

If you think a mediocre team should disqualify someone from MVP, then 2017 Westbrook shouldn't have been in the running. He shouldn't have ended up there just because Westbrook's bigs literally boxed out free throws with their hands away from the ball so Westbrook could up his totals.

4-5 against the Eastern Conference with two of those wins against Chicago and Detroit
As opposed to MVP candidate Kevin Durant, who is just 1/2 a game ahead of Steph's team right now with multiple losses to the Cavs and Wizards. :francis:

Russ got that bad team to a 5th seed and he won like 75% of those triple double games. Steph has to win more than what they are

It was actually a 6th seed. Warriors are just 1/2 a game back from the 6th seed right now.

Saying "he won 75% of those triple double games" is such a pointless stat. What, was he not trying to win the other games? Games don't count except when Russ gets a triple-double? When you're stat-chasing 24/7, reaching that triple-double is far easier in wins cause those are the games where your opponents missed more shots (more rebounds available) and your teammates made more shots (more assists available). Russ didn't play any different in the wins with triple-doubles than he did in the losses without triple-doubles, it was just easier to get the totals he was seeking in the wins.

He also lost Durant and ibaka very different circumstances. Team had no access to adding new talent to replace them because Durant waited til the last minute :dead:
