He went against Jimmy Butler :manny:
Jimmy Butler is neither elite, or a forward. A very good defender but didn't have the strength or length to bother LeBron getting into the paint. And at the end of the day, the Cavs had a much easier run allowing them to rest Kyrie for the Atlanta series. In fact, Atlanta was missing about 3 key players including Sefolosha who could have been big for them defensively. At the end of the day it's all just excuses. Warriors had the most wins and were conditioned and lucky enough to escape injuries after such a grueling season.

what?

LeBron was missing bunnies vs. the Warriors.

He was working harder vs. Butler than he did Iggy.

Your overall point about the Warriors I dont disagree with.

The Warriors title has an asterisks like it or not. OKC, SA and Cleveland were all injured and GS competition in the playoffs too

1st round-Jrue and Reke
2nd round-Conley and Tony
WCF-Bev and DMo
Finals-Love, Kyrie, Varejao

that is insane how a team could get so many breaks, plus the only injury GS really had was to Speights, how does a team get so lucky in one run:dahell:

I'm watching First Take and not 1 mention of our championship. Plenty of LeBron talk but not 1 topic about us winning it all. If the Cavs won every topic would be about them. It's like they sleeping already.
Thats cuz it didnt happen. Flukiest championship ever. :beli:

Where's the point guards nikka? :rudy:

As I said earlier in other threads he didn't face an elite PG the entire Post Season. :camby:

fukk outta here

he played against MVP candidates
your argument is flawed because Bron didn't face any elite Small Forwards

Stop it, Thabo would have killed their offense.

Yet that fakkit jordan gets credit for beating all of the big men in the 90s. fukk outta here you clown. People literally list every prime 90s players to say jordan beat them, but now you clowns want to change it up.

every team he played against also had a hurt or injured point guard:

1st round: Jrue Holiday
2nd round: Conley(was playing hurt and missed game 1)
3rd round: Beverley
finals: Irving

He wasn't matched up against any of those first all nba players. :stopitslime:

Wouldn't have guarded Conley or Irving much anyway. They'd put him on the less threatening SG while Iggy/Klay handle those duties. If Westbrook made the playoffs he'd have been guarding Roberson or Morrow. Singler when he came into the game

Beverley isn't even that good man. Not only is he barely relevant offensively but he got lit up by Dame last postseason and now we act like his defense matters against elite talent? He can't do anything with Curry and is a non factor. Rockets defense was top 7 without him for a chunk of the season

Jrue isn't anything special offensively. He's not making anyone work hard in that manner

Of course he didn't beat any point guards on the All-NBA First Team, because the dude is the pg on the first team.

Some brehs man :snoop:

When the Warriors destroy teams next season because they have a serious chip on their shoulder, they can blame it on people making comments like this.

Clippers and Spurs being teams to avoid is a joke. They didn't perform like it. if they were really deserving of that tag, one would have made the WCF. Rockets got the 2nd seed in the West without Dwight for much of the year and got him back for the PS. They had arguably two top players at their respective positions on the court with a staple of quality role players surrounding them. Houston was a damn good team
