New teams was one of the reason it had the highest ratings.

LeBron putting up 41/12/9 through 3 games had something to do with that.

Steph Curry being one of if not the most exciting player had something to do with that.

But the Warriors in general...not much discussion since the finals are over :yeshrug:

dirk/mavs first finals didnt draw these numbers
heat first finals with shaq didnt get these numbers
cavs first finals vs spurs didnt get these numbers
heat first finals with the 'big 3' didnt get these numbers
KD/Westbrook couldnt draw these numbers

and no lebron final ever got these numbers. people wanted to see the warriors and steph curry.

but all espn wants to bytch about is lebron taking another L :mjlol:

Yall gotta stop being salty about the lack of recognition though. Everyone knows yall are good, yall won the championship.

GS's lack of coverage over the title is because the playoffs in general was a letdown.

You dont have the run the Spurs had last year where they cut down some damn good teams.

Went 7 games vs. rival Dallas Mavs.
Shredded 54 win Portland.
Took down KD and Westbrook in the WCF.
Then dominated a two time champ Heat in the finals.

Golden State's run was :ld:

Even if yall would have likely won. People wanted to see Golden State vs. a KD/Westbrook first round. Memphis backcourt being hurt just took away from seeing them really challenge the splash brothers like we hoped. Houston was the one team nobody wanted to see make the WCF against Golden State. People wanted either the Clippers or Spurs. It just makes for a better series.

Then playing a Kyrie less Cavs squad (I'm not even asking for Kevin Love to be there...) it just took away from the finals. Steph letting Delly bother him for a couple games was fun, but not what people wanted to see. They wanted to see a talent almost as good as Steph go right at him.

Instead we just saw 7 man team wear down :ld:

In reality its no knock on the Warriors. Yall may have won it all anyway :manny::patrice:

Its just the letdown of these playoffs.
"hold up..."

Wait, slow down homie....

But LeBron didn't face an elite forward either. :ohhh:
And he lost :tyrese:

Point blank, who dealt with more adversity on their road to the Finals? Cavs or Warriors? Lebron or Steph?

Is it one mic or ochie wally?

Lol exactly my point

So let me get this straight, a BETTER team beat a more popular team and GS catches heat because they won vs the BETTER team?

Oh yea and those BETTER teams that knocked out those more popular teams, they did it without those same point guards..

The Cavs benefitted from other teams players being injured just as the Warriors did. Moot point. Not to mention a MUCH easier road to becoming conference champs.

Good post bruh, I can mos def respect your opinion cause I feel like even if every team was healthy that GS would have still won the ship (if CLE had Love and Irving I understand they would have scored more and more efficiently, but they woulda lacked the defense they got and you don't want to try to outscore the Warriors). Good observation with no bias/hate :salute:

That is true :ehh:

It would have been true if Kevin Love and Kyrie were healthy. :whoa:

They needed LeBron to play at an all time high level to beat these teams

Pau was back by game 6. :yeshrug:

Cavs were already up 2-0 easily when Korver got hurt :francis:
In fact Carroll and Korver were hurt while Kyrie was out :manny:

Cavs benefitted some from injuries....but with them losing two all stars its not the same.
