I thought I wanted this but... i mean the internal resolution is 800p. For this price you could get a PS5 Slim Digital and a PS Portal with higher resolution at 1080p. Sure its streaming but I've never had an issue with buffering.. Its a no for me. About to preorder the Portal and chill.

I don't know what to think of this device. The price puts it in direct competition with the Ally and Legion Go. The new screen and battery life is a huge plus, but it doubles down on the primary reason why I moved on from it: fleeting ability to play new AAA games and poor compatibility with anti-cheat software. I thought games too demanding to be played on Steam Deck would start releasing later next year, but its already happening in late 2023. If you loving your Deck, then it sounds like an amazing upgrade, but I would give a pause to new buyers, not focused on indies and emulation.
