If I pay into a system $5 and I receive back $10,000 to use, that money comes from a social pool, does it not? Are you implying that the money comes from private sources?

If you're using the post 9/11 GI Bill you know damn well you receive several magnitudes of more money than you put in. Matter of fact, If I remember correctly, military people who entered after the post 9/11 bill went into affect don't even have to contribute to use it. They only have to be in a certain amount of years.

Kick rocks ho. :camby:

Please post the definition of socialism and then post who and what the G.I. Bill is for and kill yourself. And no, you don't receive the G.I. Bill without paying into it, whether it's Chapter 30 or Chapter 33. Smart dumb nikkas I tell you..

Motherfukka I know how the G.I. bill works, I receive it. Paying into the welfare and social security is MUCH different than paying into a G.I. bill regarding socialism because the G.I. bill isn't for everyone, nor do you have to participate in the program. Just because the government gives you money doesn't mean it's a form of socialism. Financial aid for school would fit better in line with socialism than the G.I. Bill. Read a book.

Wait a you benefit from the G.I. Bill?

Drink a cock you socialist fa ggot

Who is Eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill?

Veterans who have served on active duty at least 90 aggregate days after Sept. 10, 2001, or
served at least 30 continuous days on active duty after Sept. 10, 2001 and received a discharge
for disability.

Do I Get My $1,200 Refunded if I Switch From the Montgomery GI Bill to the Post-9/11 GI Bill?

Any individual who paid the $1,200 buy-in for the Montgomery GI Bill and chooses to use the
Post-9/11 GI Bill may be refunded a proportional amount if all entitlement under the Post-9/11
GI Bill is used. Individuals who do not use all their entitlement under the Post-9/11 GI Bill will not
receive a refund.

I did not contribute $1200 to the GI Bill. Can I still get the Post-9/11 GI Bill?

Yes, if you meet the service requirements for the Post-9/11 GI Bill you will be eligible,
even if you declined to participate in the Montgomery GI Bill.

You don't even have to pay into anymore. It's fully funded by the government.

Now keep it moving you mayonnaise sniffing cracker. Stop being a veteran impostor online and have some dignity.

They are referring to people who opted out of receiving the Chapter 30 in Basic, but that doesn't necessarily exclude them from being able to get the Chapter 33 in the future. And it wouldn't matter if tax dollars paid for it, because it's only for a certain group of people, not everybody in America. Socialism is when one person can't benefit from something more than the other and we ALL receive the same thing. Pretending to be a vet? That's nothing to be proud of. You sign a contract and you're a slave to the government for X amount of years. Big whoop...veterans are usually some of the dumbest motherfukkers alive.

Read it again. You can use the GI BIll without putting in $1200. Again, I receive around $1200 just in BAH to go to school in one month.

You're right in a sense. I was merely referring to the people who bytch about Obama and Socialism without understanding it. Welfare would be a much better term.

It's Welfare. Provided by taxpayer money.

Yes, I am extremely dumb. I was also a slave. Thank you for your revelation.

I get Chapter 30 so I paid into it, but either way, the shyt isn't socialism. If you're going to look at it like that, you should consider the military itself a form of welfare (which I do).

See above post.

I didn't call you dumb in that instance, but I would truly hope you didn't join the military to fight for freedom or any of that bullshyt. Slave? Very much so and I don't think we need to go into why.

I do consider the military a social program. Yes, it isn't socialism per se (though government funded programs are hallmarks of democratic socialism), but to the people who I was initially referring to it might as well be. It's without a doubt a form of welfare.

I didn't, but my reasons were just as naive and stupid. I agree with the slave comment. It is essentially what you are. Not chattel slavery, but definitely a form of strict control lacking democratic process.

Man, I love the post 9/11 GI Bill.

Pays 100% of my tuition, fees and gives me a living allowance. I wish everyone could have this.

Everyone should have this, without risking getting blown the fukk up.

But we would rather spend more money on increasing the Wealth Gaps, prisons, and killing arabs and persians than investing in education.
